About the project
The Walwa Recreation Reserve project has been identified as a priority project by the CFA and broader community with the aim to enhance community resilience.
Council have developed concept plans that include the construction of an amenities block and undercover storage, and carpark upgrades.
We are now seeking your feedback to ensure the plans reflect your vision and ideas.
How to have your say:
Attend our community information session.
This session will provide community members an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of the project managers responsible for the walking trails and the marketing plan.

Project Update- August 2022
Council recently met with Walwa community members and representatives from the Walwa CFA to discuss the redevelopment and upgrade of the Walwa Recreation Reserve.
The CFA have advised that the Recreation Reserve is one of the locations being considered for their future station.
Topics discussed included:
. The location for the new amenities block
. Improved safety through better and increased lighting
. Support for the removal of the unused buildings on site
. The relocation of the caravan dump point
. The development of a traffic management plan to support current and future uses of the reserve.
The feedback from the meeting will be incorporated into the final development plans for the reserve.
