About the project
Hanson St in Corryong will be upgraded with improvements to the western between Kiell Street and Sugarloaf Road. The project will bring the whole of Hanson Street into line with earlier upgrades in the commercial centre.
The project will deliver:
- Improved safety with the introduction of turning lanes at intersections
- Improved parking opportunities.
- Removal of old and unsuitable trees which are causing issues with drainage infrastructure.
- New kerb on both sides of the street
- Footpath improvements
No road closures are expected and should there be any temporary restrictions to access to your property then this will be communicated directly to you by door knock or mail box drop.
The project is funded by a $1.49 million grant from the Victorian Government's Fixing Country Roads Program.
