Cr David Wortmann
Cr Wortmann has a long history of service within Towong Shire. He was first elected to Council in November 2008 and re-elected on 24 October 2020. He has served six terms as Mayor, including three consecutive terms from November 2014 and again in November 2018.
A lifelong resident of Granya, in the Shire's north west, Cr Wortmann is married with two children. He's closely connected to local industry, running a beef and sheep farm and operating a school bus service.
