Cr Peter Tolsher - Deputy Mayor
Cr Peter Tolsher has been a resident of Tallangatta since 1976. Having married a local Joanne, who was the Librarian at Tallangatta for 35 years, and has two children and two grandchildren.
His professional career spanned 40 years including a senior managers role at North East Water before retiring in 2022. His dedication extended beyond my professional role, actively contributing to the Water Industry Operators Association as a voluntary board member for over 10 years.
Cr Tolsher previously served as a councillor of Towong Shire Council from 2016 to 2020. His influence on the council was marked by a passion for improving the local infrastructure and services, benefiting the community.
Cr Tolsher has dedication and loyalty to his community, contributing across various sectors that includes past council and board experience giving him the required skills to represent the community.
