Towong St East, Tallangatta Streetscape

About the project

Towong St East underwent road, kerb, footpath and drainage upgrades.

The project delivered:

• Renewal of existing and installation of new kerb, footpath and stormwater
• Parking and provision for bike lanes - Intersection upgrades
• A footpath connection to the rail trail along Towong Street East

Construction was completed in October 2023.

This project was funded by an $872,493 grant from the Commonwealth Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
