Tourism signage

The Tourist Signing Guidelines, released by the Tourism Events and Visitor Economy Branch (TEVE) in partnership with VicRoads, were designed specifically for the tourism industry.

They aim to achieve an integrated information system in which tourist and services signs are provided in conjunction with:

• quality road and tourist maps
• other marketing support material
• visitor information centres.

Apply to use road signage

If you'd like to organise road signage to promote your tourism business, you'll need to apply to VicRoads.

The type of application you need to make depends on the type of establishment you're running and where you want to place the signage.
