We're starting to develop the Council Plan for 2025-29. This plan will guide our organisation over the next four years, focusing on the strategic priorities that matter most to our residents and outlining the key actions we need to take to deliver on those priorities.
Stage 1 - Previous Consultations
Over the past two years, we have gathered insights through the Our Towns Place Plans, structure planning, and Masterplans. Now it's time to refine our focus and set clear priorities for the next four-year Council term.
These plans serve as a roadmap for collaboration between the community and government, guiding our collective efforts over the next decade.
Stage 2 - Council Plan 2025-29 Community Engagement
During these sessions, we’ll be seeking your input on which services and infrastructure should be prioritised over the next four years. We invite the public to attend these consultation sessions to share your priorities and help identify any important areas not covered in existing strategic documents. This is your opportunity to let us know what matters most to you for the next four years. Your input is invaluable in shaping our community’s future.
The consultation will focus on:
- Community Vision: Is it still relevant to residents?
- Council Plan: Projects and priorities for the next four years in your area
Stage 3 - Draft Council Plan
Once we have completed Stage 2 of our consultation, we we gather the community's information to create the Draft Council Plan 2025-29. This will then be on public exhibition for the community to have a look at.
All feedback will be presented to the Councillors and any required changes will be made before being adopted in October 2025.
