Have Your Say on Corryong CBD Streetscape Revitalisation

Council is applying for funding to make upgrades to the Corryong central business district (CBD) and is asking community members what changes they would like to see included in any future upgrades.

The feedback and ideas will be used to inform a design plan, for the purpose of submitting the funding application.

Mayor Wortmann encouraged community members to take part in the survey.

“Corryong residents and businesses know their town the best. My fellow Councillors and I would like to understand what upgrades and changes they would like to see to revitalise the central business area.”

“Ideas may range from improving verandas and shop facades, to artwork, themes and colour schemes, improving outdoor seating, shade, landscaping and pedestrian access. It is very much at the early design stage, so we welcome all ideas” he said.

If the funding application is successful, community members will again have the chance to provide feedback and help finalise the plans.
