Congratulations to the Stepping it Up Program’s successful applicants!

Towong Shire Council would like to thank everyone who applied to their Stepping it up Program.

A huge congratulations to the two successful applicants – the Mitta Mitta Hotel and the Koetong-Shelley Development Association!

The Mitta Mitta Hotel, in conjunction with Mitta Valley Inc, will be developing a series of self-guided walks for visitors to choose from, with a gourmet lunch at the mid-way point.

The Koetong-Shelley Development Association will also be creating a self-guided walks brochure. Visitors will be able to purchase a gourmet picnic hamper to enjoy during their walk.

The two successful applicants will receive grants of up to $5,000, as well as mentoring from Tourism North East, to develop their walk experiences.

Towong Shire Mayor David Wortmann congratulated the successful applicants.
