Round 4 of Council’s Community Recovery Grants Program now open

Do you have an idea or initiative to support bushfire recovery in your community?

The fourth and final round of Towong Shire Council’s Community Recovery Grants Program is now open, with grants of up to $5,000 available to fund eligible projects and activities to support community recovery and renewal.

The program is open to not-for-profit organisations and community groups across Towong Shire.

Application forms and guidelines can be found:

• Online: Visit towong.vic.gov.au/bushfire-recovery
• In person: Drop into the Upper Murray Community Recovery Hub, or the Corryong or Tallangatta Council Offices and Libraries

If you have been successful in a previous grant round, please ensure that you have completed your acquittal before applying for a grant in Round 4.

Applications for Round 4 close 5pm Friday 24 September 2021.

Towong Shire Council’s Community Recovery Grants Program is funded by a $500,000 grant from the Federal Government’s Bushfire Recovery Program and a $200,000 grant from the State Government’s Community Recovery and Resilience Grants Program.
