Tallangatta Holiday Park – Stage 2 Commences

The Tallangatta Holiday Park is about to undergo an upgrade as part of Stage 2!

Weather permitting, construction will commence in June and continue in stages through to November 2021.

The upgrades will include:

• A sealed walking path along the foreshore
• New playground equipment with shade sail at the camp kitchen
• Refurbishment of the existing western amenities block
• Blinds on the Western side of the existing camp kitchen
• Lighting
• Road repairs

The Park will remain open during construction, with small areas closed for short periods to ensure the safety of visitors and workers.

Towong Council Mayor David Wortmann said these upgrades will build on Stage 1 of the Tallangatta Holiday Park Transformation Project which was completed in 2019.

“The Tallangatta Holiday Park is an important community asset in Tallangatta which has huge untapped economic and social value."

“The Stage 2 upgrades will enhance recreation options at the park and improve existing amenities, making it more appealing to both residents and visitors” he said.
