Old Tallangatta images to feature on new bins in The Triangles

Towong Shire Council would like to extend a huge thank you to those of you who completed the survey to choose your favourite images of Old Tallangatta!
The top 18 images will be used to wrap some new bins in The Triangles, and Towong Street which will feature the chosen imagery on the sides and back, along with wood panelling on the front.
Towong Council Mayor David Wortmann said the new bins will bring together a bit of the old with the new.
“The images of Old Tallangatta will celebrate the history of Old Tallangatta, in the form of a new modern bin design to complement The Triangles and CBD revitalisation” he said.
Construction is scheduled to take place in July, please take care when contractors are on site.
