Appealing a Fine
The Infringements Act 2006 allows for an infringement notice to be reviewed only once. If you believe that you have a good reason why you should not pay the fine you may apply for an internal review.Â
Complete the ‘Appeal of Penalty Infringement' form below and post or deliver it to Council’s Local Laws Officer. The appeal process may take up to ninety days or longer if additional information is required. However, responses are generally sent out within twenty-eight days of receiving a request to formally review the fine.
